«Himmeli» – Geometry and tradition from Finland
From 28 September 2018
The next temporary exhibition is dedicated to the Scandinavian tradition of "himmeli" – geometric constructions made of straw. The Finnish artist Eija Koski has contributed significantly to keeping alive this particular tradition. These delicate works are usually made in autumn in varying sizes and hung from the ceiling on a thread.
